Artistic Motion Company Dancer?

After having our first year get off to such a great start we're already planning an even bigger season for next year.

The Artistic Motion Company Dancers are very dedicated dancers (ages 5-16) who train in many styles of dance.  They are held to a high standard of dedication and behavior.  Being a company dancer is a privilege, but it definitely has it's benefits!  The dancers not only get to perform and compete throughout the season, they also have Company Sleepovers at the studio and get the opportunity to travel as well.  

The company will perform locally throughout the season and will travel in the summer.  Things in planning for next year are...

Our Senior Company was awarded 3rd Place in the Teen Group Jazz Competition for their Zero to Hero routine!

Congratulations to Mia Domini and Hannah Smith who were both awarded scholarships to return to the convention for free next year!   

Company 2008-2009

Workshop & Auditions

All dancers new and returning are required to participate in our Company Workshop and Auditions in order to be considered for company.  

During the Workshop dancers will take class in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop.  This will give our instructors a real view of every dancers skills, potential, and work ethic.  

The audition will be run as if it were the real thing.  Dancers will be taught a short combination, given a few minutes to work on it, and then will be broken into small groups to be judged.  Every judge will give scores based on the dancers performance in the small group only. 

Every dancer will then be placed in a group based on their performance in the workshop as well as their scores from the audition.
