MANDI LUTZ - ANDERBERG

Mandi began dancing at the age of 4 at Classic Image Dance in Mesa, Arizona, and was invited to join the studio's youngest company at age 6.  As a member of their competitive companies for 13 years, Mandi has attended numerous competitions and conventions, taken master classes with well-respected teachers and earned several regional and national titles, as well as scholarships from various competitions.  Mandi is trained in all forms of dance, however Jazz and Contemporary remain her favorites.

 

After graduating high school, Mandi had the opportunity to perform in the International Dance Festival in NYC.  she was part of the show, The 11th Hour, choreographed by Eddie Garcia.  Mandi also danced for two seasons with Center Dance Ensemble, the resident dance company of the Herberger Theater.  Her favorite and most notable performance was as the 'Rose Spirit' in the Snow Queen, the company's annual holiday production.  During this time, she was also a dance finalist in the Arizona Young Artist Competition.  While dancing with the company, Mandi began teaching at various studios around the valley.  Her students and choreography have been awarded many overall titles in many regional competitions.

 

Mandi's passion for teaching has led her to open her own studio where she can help dancers find their own passion for dance.  

 



 

KATY FARRELL

Katy started dancing when she was 5 years old and has trained at various studios around the valley.  She attended Corona del Sol High School and was an honor society student.  Katy was also in the Advanced Dance Program and on the Pom Line at Corona.

Currently Katy is a student at ASU Polytechnic majoring in applied biosciences.

Katy is very excited to be a part of the teaching staff at Artistic Motion Dance.

 

 

 


NATASHA BROOKSHER

Ballet Instructor

 

Mrs. Brooksher grew up in Woodbury, CT receiving her training at Nutmeg Ballet.  She graduated Valedictorian of her class, both in ballet and academics. Mrs. Brooksher received honors in competition at the ARTS Recognition and Talent SearchNew York International Ballet Competition, Paris International Ballet Competition, and the Prix de Lausanne

Mrs. Brooksher  enjoyed a long  professional career with Boston Ballet, Texas Ballet Theatre, and Ballet Arizona, where she worked with leading choreographers such as Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, Lyla York, & Trey McIntyre, performing leading roles in American Classics such as Rodeo, Billy the Kid and Company B.   Her extensive classical repertoire includes all the great story-ballets as well as many Balanchine masterpieces.  Mrs. Brooksher has worked with some of the world’s greatest instructors and coaches including; Sharon E. Dante, Anna Marie Holmes, Natalia Dudinskaya, Sergei Berejnoi, Bruce Marks, Eleanor D’Antuono, Tatiana Legat, Igor  Youskevitch, Suki Schorer, Vladimir Kolesnikov, Suzanne Farrell, Terry Orr, Tatiana Terekhova, Vicki Simon, Ben Stevenson, Francia Russell,  Sandra Jennings, Denise Warner, Caroline Llorca and Elise Borne.  Each of whom made an enormous impact on her stylistic sensibilities, especially in the classical repertoire.

Mrs. Brooksher has extensive teaching experience, having taught for Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts and the New York International Ballet Competition. Most recently, she is co-founder and Artistic Director for Southwest Classical Dance Institute (click for available classes or to read more About Us), and is a Guest Faculty member at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts. Mrs. Brooksher also serves as the AZ State Representative of Classical Dance Alliance, and is currently Ballet Mistress for Novaballet in Phoenix. She shares her passion for ballet and her life with her husband Joshua and two year old son Ian. 


 

JOSH BROOKSHER

Ballet Instructor



Mr. Brooksher grew up in Mesa, AZ where he received his early training at Ballet Etudes and Jeanne’s School of Dance. At the age of 13 he left Mesa for Washington D.C. to attend, on full scholarship, the Universal Ballet Academy (now Kirov Academy of Ballet), one of the premier ballet school in the world.  Mr. Brooksher graduated with high honors from their comprehensive program.

During his illustrious dancing career, Mr. Brooksher performed a wide repertoire, from all of the great classic story-ballets and Balanchine masterpieces to some of the most cutting edge contemporary choreography, and is world renowned as one of his generation's greatest partners.   Mr. Brooksher has worked with some of the world’s most successful teachers and coaches.  Ruodolf Kharatian, Ludmilla Morkovina, Alla Sisova, Nikolai Morosov, Yelena & Oleg Vinogradov, Vladimir Kolesnikov, Bruce Marks, Anna Marie Holmes, Natalia Dudinskaya, Irina Koplakova, Oleg Briansky, Cynthia Gregory, Gelsey Kirkland, Suzanne Farrell, Trey McIntyre, Terry Orr, Kevin O'Day, and Dwight Rodin are some of those who have given Mr. Brooksher his extensive knowledge and insight as a premier male dancer, partner, teacher, and coach.

After dancing professionally for over a decade with The Kirov Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theater, Mr. Brooksher returned home for a season with Ballet Arizona before embarking on his mission to pass on all of his knowledge to the next generation of dance artists.  

Mr. Brooksher is the co-founder and Artistic Director for Southwest Classical Dance Institute (click for available classes or to read more About Us) as well as a Guest Faculty member at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in CT.   He also serves as the Chairman of the State Representatives of Classical Dance Alliance, and Ballet Master for Novaballet in Phoenix.  Mr. Brooksher has also created several critically acclaimed original chographic works.  He shares his passion for dance and for life with his wife Natasha and son Ian.

RYAN ERONEMO

Hip Hop Instructor

Ryan has performed, taught, toured, appeared in, and choreographed for music videos, as well as appeared on television both domestically and internationally. While working on different projects and productions, he has had the pleasure to work with such distinguished names as Dee Dee Wood (choreographer, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins), David J. Moore (Millennium Dance Complex), Gregg Russell (Tap Sounds Underground), Ryan Lohoff (LA Dance Magic), Jake McWilliams (protégé of the late, Gregory Hines), Mario Velez Jr. (Omarion, TLC, Brandy), Kevin Inouye (Choreographer for Julliard), Stacey Van-Dyke (Actress), Helena Saraydarian (International Choreographer), and many others. Ryan co-choreographed and appeared as a principle in Stephani Krise's music video debut "Tell it to the Moon" which toped out on Billboard Charts Hot Club Play at #12. In addition he was a co-choreographer on Melissa Cohee's North American, Expressions Tour, and appeared in Rated E's music video (R.e.)  He toured with Hall of Fame Dance Challenge, one of the largest dance competitions in the country.  Ryan has appeared on MTV Europe, Sky TV in Canada and has also done live performances on KTVK-TV. Ryan's progressive teaching techniques, classes, and choreography have been featured in articles from nationally syndicated news papers and have also won him many awards for outstanding choreography. Other performance credits include: The WNBA, New Era Clothing, and The Red Cross Benefit Concert for Katrina Victims in NY, NY.

 


 

 

JESSIE WADDELL

Ballet, Hip Hop, and Ballet/Tap Teacher

 

Jessie has had training in many different genres such as, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, flamenco, modern, and a little bit of ballroom. She received her early training from Dance Connection Too and Danceworks by Dannis before becoming a member of Ballet Etudes’ company for five years where she performed in many full length ballets including Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Nutcracker, in which she was honored to dance the role of Court Fairy. In her 2005-2006 school year, she was also a member of the Mountain View Pom Line. And following that school year, she was placed in the second highest level of the State Street Ballet Summer Intensive Program in Santa Barbara. The summer of 2007, she attended Fort Wayne Ballet Summer Intensive in Indiana, where she was placed in the highest level and had extensive training in many genres of dance. As a Provost Scholar, she is also attending ASU as a kinesiology major with a minor in dance and is a member of the Dancing Devils, a community service based jazz team. She is very privileged and excited to be a part of Artistic Motion.

 


BECKI WALSH

Company Instructor

 

Becki Walsh has been dancing since the age of three. She has studied all types of dance, as well as gymnastics. Becki danced n scholarship at the Jimmie Defore Dance Center in Costa Mesa, Ca., and has also trained at the Edge Performing Arts
Center, Millenium, and Tremaine Dance Studios. Becki has performed with Jazz Spectrum Dance Company, Disneyland, The Los Angeles Angels Dancers, and Angela Bassett’s Medical Research Foundation Gala. She has also appeared on Fox Sport Television Shows, Monday Night Live, Exercise Infomercials, and she was a featured dancer in an Australian Rugby commercial
with George Burns and Heather Locklear. For three years, Becki danced as a Los Angeles Clippers Dance Team member. During that time, she did choreography for the team, as well as for numerous high school & college dance & song teams throughout the United States.


Becki’s award winning choreography has garnered many national championships and overalls at top competitions throughout America. In 2003, Becki & Dennis Caspary worked together as the owners of Pulse Dance Studio in Irvine, Ca. Currently, Becki is attending Arizona State University where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a minor in Dance. She is a certified Pilate’s mat & reformer instructor and enjoys working with dancers and athletes of all ages. Her journey could not have been possible without her loving husband and four amazing children.
