Our sessions are based around the school year.  The main session begins mid-August and concludes at the end of May with our Annual Recital.  Summer session is typically 6 weeks of June and July.  

We begin taking registration for the fall-spring session in May and will continue to take new students until classes are full or January 31st, whichever comes first.   Registration for the summer session begins April 1st. 

Yes.  However, should you register into the session the selection of classes may be a bit smaller.  Also, our ages for classes tend to overlap, so if you register into the session your dancer will most likely be put into the younger/lower level class so they do not feel behind.  The teachers can always tell you where your dancer would be best suited. 

If you are new to Artistic Motion please give us a call and we would be more than happy to help.  Depending on your dancers' age and experience we might ask you to just bring them in for a trial class so we can see where they would be best placed.   Please remember if you are changing from another studio, every studio has different levels so your dancer might be considered a lower or higher level than they previously were.  

Currently we offer classes for Ages 1-adult.  At 12 months you can come in with your little one for a mommy & me class.  From 2-18 years we offer classes for children without parent supervision.  And for the adults we offer dance classes, as well as yoga and pilates.  

The majority of our classes perform in our annual recital with the exception of mommy & me, adult, technique, and tumbling classes.   For every class your dancer is in enrolled in they will have a different recital routine and costume.  

Yes and no.  Class changes are allowed until December 1st of the fall-spring session, as long as there are openings.  Changes cannot be made after this time as we will be preparing for recital, ordering costumes, and learning dances.
